Our Introduction to Pilates and Matwork Instructor Training is a course for people who want to learn more about Pilates, teach Pilates at a gym or Pilates studio or start their own business.
This course will involve lectures, group discussions, practical training and an analysis of every Matwork exercise. Students must complete Introduction to Pilates and Matwork before commencing the Reformer Pilates course.

Kim has been working in the fitness industry for over seven years. With expertise in both Pilates and Yoga, Kim is passionate about helping clients move the body, calm the mind, and live life to the fullest. To ensure all Introduction to Pilates and Matwork Course students have the same level of knowledge, you must have completed one of the following qualifications before the course start date.

Lunch, snacks, water, socks, pens, comfortable activewear and a jumper or laters for when you sit still and write.
If you are unsuccessful in your first exam attempt you are able to submit a second exam video at no additional charge. This video must be submitted within 30 days of your first exam results. If you are unsuccessful in your second practical exam you will be required to attend the course again at a 50% discount of the original course fee.
The pre-course content is done online so can be done from the comfort of your own couch. The in-studio aspect takes place at Premium Pilates & Fitness Coorparoo, 193 Cavendish Rd, Coorparoo, Brisbane. Students are required to make their way to and from the venue. There are buses that arrive and depart close to the studio and a car park at the studio.

If you have met all the course requirements, you will receive a Certificate of Completion for the Premium Pilates and Fitness Reformer course. This course is recognised in many Pilates studios and gyms across Australia.
Students must submit a video of themselves instructing which will be marked against the detailed criteria and will be awarded a pass or fail. This practical exam must be submitted within 3 months of the course completion date.
