Enrol in Matwork Fundamentals

From Student
to Instructor

Your qualification isn't built on theory alone. The post-course component gives you the time and practical experience to observe, practise, teach and refine your skills before completing your certification.

Learn

30 hours of pre-course foundational learning through the PPF Online Learning Portal.

Practise

Four face-to-face training days including three practice-teaching segments with feedback from your Teacher Trainers.

Put It Into Practice

Complete your observation, participation, apprentice teaching, practice teaching and assessments to bring everything you've learned together.

15 Matwork class observations — watch experienced instructors teach and see programming, cueing and class management in action.
30 Matwork class participations — completed in-studio and/or through the Online Learning Portal.
25 hours of instructing and practice teaching — build experience putting your knowledge into practice.
15 Matwork apprentice teaching classes — teach small segments within real classes.
Practical exam — submit a video demonstrating your teaching skills.
Theory assessment — complete a multiple-choice exam and create a Matwork program.
